Distribution

Introduction

Indonesian Serin has a somewhat unique distribution, comprising a series of six isolated montane populations in Indonesia: (1) northern Sumatra (Mt Leuser area); (2) West Java (Mt Pangrango); (3) East Java (Tengger Mts and western Yang); (4) South Sulawesi (Mt Rantekombola); and (5) Central Sulawesi (Lore Lindu National Park) (1, 16, 17).
