Distribution

Nuthatch-Vanga occurs throughout most of northern and eastern Madagascar (19), from Marojejy and Anjanaharibe-Sud (20, 4, 21, 22) south to southeastern Madagascar in Andohahela (23).

Occurs from sea level up to 1300 m (very locally to 1800bm; 20), but is most common below 1000 m (24).
