Introduction

The Wallacean Island-Thrush of Sulawesi and Timor is a member of the Turdus poliocephalus species complex, a group of over 50 island-endemic taxa that were formerly collected under the single polytypic species, "Island Thrush", despite substantial variation in plumage and vocalizations. This complex is now split into 17 different species, many of which remain poorly known. Life history details are summarized for the whole species complex where specific details for the Wallacean Island-Thrush are not known.
