Dispersal and Site Fidelity
Most populations resident, but populations breeding in extreme southern portion of the range apparently migrate north, spending non-breeding season in northern and central Argentina (north to Jujuy and Entre Ríos, occasionally east to Buenos Aires) (16, 2). Southern Andean populations may descend to sea-level in austral winter.
